I have been photographing weddings since 2010, working with both digital and film photography. Using both formats allows me to create a balance of clarity and nostalgia. Digital offers precision and versatility, while film brings a tangible softness, depth, and honesty that cannot be replicated. Together, they build a visual story that feels both timeless and deeply authentic.
My work is shaped by a deep appreciation for people, culture, and connection. I value learning from different cultures, forming meaningful relationships, cooking and sharing good food, and living a holistic and intentional lifestyle. These influences guide the way I approach photography: with curiosity, care, and a genuine desire to honour the stories entrusted to me.
A line from The Alchemist has long resonated with me: “Each day, in itself, brings with it an eternity.” This idea shapes both my life and my work. I believe in being fully present, and I strive to help my clients feel grounded in their day so that their images hold both the history, the story, the feeling, and the soul. My goal is always to capture the beauty, heart, and history of the people I photograph, creating images that bring them back to their most timeless moments.
Alongside my photography career, I hold a postgraduate degree in psychology and currently work in mental health prevention and promotion within community psychology. My commitment to equal rights and to building communities where people’s needs are recognised and valued is central to who I am. Because of this, a portion of every photography booking directly supports my community mental health work. I view this as an ethical and grounded way to align my creative work with a broader purpose: contributing to a more equitable and just world.
